David Cohen is an accomplished M&A attorney with extensive experience that spans private practice, in-house, and insurance. He began his career at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz advising on high-profile private equity and public M&A transactions, and later joined Amazon’s in-house M&A legal team, where he played a key role in executing Amazon’s $13.7 billion acquisition of Whole Foods Market. He then transitioned into the transactional risk insurance space, first as an underwriter at a leading MGA and later co-leading the RWI practice at a top brokerage. Earlier in his career, David served as a law clerk for then-Chancellor Leo E. Strine, Jr. on the Delaware Court of Chancery and earned his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.
